A dressage saddle is designed to allow the rider to maintain a deeper seat and longer leg position. This saddle’s deep seat makes it easier for the rider to communicate with the horse through seat and leg aids while performing flatwork and lateral movements. A rider should be able to fit the width of their hand between their bottom and the cantle (back edge of the seat) of the saddle. An adult dressage seat will range in size from 17 - 20 inches. This saddle has a 17" seat.
