Since the scrotum in this ram lacked the cleavage that normally reflects two testes, it had only one testicle in the scrotum.  The ram likely was unilaterally cryptorchid, that is one testis failed to descend into the scrotum.  NAL #3824 is a comparison with a normal ram.
