This pig has an umbilical hernia commonly known as a belly rupture.  When the navel ruptures, the intestines protrude through into the subcutaneous area creating a mass like the one in the picture.  While it normally is not painful, it can result in a strangulated intestine.  Surgery is available but it is likely not cost effective for production pigs.
